As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will be a “catalyst for change” and a leader of complex digital and organizational transformations. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, responsible for managing high-stakes projects, driving business development, and mentoring the next generation of Activera consultants.
You will be expected to provide thought leadership, manage project work streams, and contribute to both client and internal initiatives with increasing autonomy and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement Leadership & Delivery Excellence
- Design and execute cutting-edge strategies (Change Management, AI Integration, or IT Strategy) tailored to unique client needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver results on time, within scope, and within budget using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Leverage expertise in data lifecycle, cloud infrastructure, or organizational design to optimize project performance.
- Conduct proactive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
Client Relationship & Business Development
- Act as the primary point of contact for C-suite and executive stakeholders (CIO, CEO, COO).
- Lead “farming” efforts to expand existing client accounts and “hunting” efforts to win new business.
- Craft compelling engagement strategies and communication plans that align stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
Team Development & Leadership
- Serve as a mentor and coach through the Activera Advisor Program, guiding junior consultants in their professional growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within project teams.
- Contribute to Activera’s proprietary tools and methodologies, sharing best practices to keep the firm ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transformational Leadership, Data Analytics, or a related field (Advanced degree/MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of management consulting experience, with at least 5 years of prior Business Development and Account Management experience.
- Mastery of project management (PMP, Agile/Scrum) and/or change management frameworks (Prosci ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step).
- Deep experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, EPC, or Private Equity is highly preferred.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights; experience with AI readiness or digital transformation is a plus.
